EXPANDO® protective braided hosesBraided hoses - the universal solution for high demands
EXPANDO®-braided hoses are expandable protective hoses made of high-strength plastics or glass fibers
Optimum protection for every application: EXPANDO braided hoses stand for flexibility, robustness and impeccable appearance.
EXPANDO® braided hoses - state-of-the-art production technology
EXPANDO®braided hoses are expandable protective hoses made of high-strength plastics or glass fibers. In addition to optimal protection, they also allow the marking of strands or bundles with different colors. The high-precision braiding connects the fiber materials used robustness and hardness with the EXPANDO®-typical flexibility and high elongation rates of up to 1: 3. As a result, even objects with large diameter differences can be protected and made attractive without compromising flexibility. The fibers are interwoven in monofilament, multifilament or hybrid construction depending on the field of application. EXPANDO®-Braided hoses provide excellent abrasion and cut protection for cable systems and media-carrying lines. Made of extremely hard and abrasion-resistant materials, they are resistant to most fuels, supplies and operating materials. Even at high operating temperatures and in extreme conditions, these braided hoses offer a high degree of mechanical strength.
Easy installation with professional outfit
The EXPANDO®-braided hoses are easy to install due to their high stretch ratio and without special knowledge. No special tools are needed for the assembly. After installation, the EXPANDO® automatically and positively engages around the object to be protected thanks to the push-back effect.
Protective hose with "push-back effect"
EXPANDO®braided hoses bundle and protect wires and cables and a variety of other objects from mechanical and thermal stress. The materials used for the most part have enormous cutting and tensile strengths and offer exceptional protection against abrasion. The high restoring force of the monofilaments creates the "push-back effect", which causes the tube to return to its original diameter and is fixed automatically. The EXPANDO®braided hoses withstand chemical stress and high thermal reserves. Even fire and open flames are no problem for our special hoses.
Many EXPANDO® variants with track approval according to EN 45545 available
Future-proof according to the latest standards: Many EXPANDO® versions meet the requirements of the strict EN 45545.
