BSTS/BSTS-FR – Moisture and weather-resistant
This tube is made of a strong, moisture, mold and weather-resistant polymer material and provides a shrink ratio of 3:1, thick-walled insulation and abrasion resistance. Optionally, the thick-walled heat shrinkable tubing is also available in a flame-retardant version (BSTS-FR).
Heat shrinkable tube of medium wall thickness for permanent protection in applications in the energy sector. MWTM/U provides optimal properties for use as cable insulation with good bend protection and strain relief properties. Halogen free and resistant to alkaline earths and UV radiation.
HF – Flexible high performance tube
Highly flexible, thick-walled 3:1 shrinkable tube, which is designed for cable sheath applications where the flexibility of the cable is critical. It provides abrasion protection in bending and torsion strained applications and is also flame retardant, heat shrinkable tubing for excellent insulation.
HRHF/HRNF/HRSR – Severe shrinking
Robust heat-shrinkable tubing with high shrink ratio of 5.6:1. Provides practical benefits for cable repairs and applications where large differences in diameter prevail between the cables and cable connectors and termination assemblies. This simplifies, in particular, the repair of damaged cables. Particularly resistant and available with increased flexibility or flame-resistant equipment in specific designs.
With its outstanding general characteristics, the RW-200-E shrinkable tube is suitable in a wide range of highly demanding applications in numerous areas. Alongside its resistance to abrasion and mechanical stress, this extraordinary shrinkable tubing is characterised by remarkable low-temperature flexibility, high chemical resistance and considerable heat reserves (applicable in up to +200°C).
TFER Made of modified Teflon, is characterised by excellent resistance to acids and lyes. This highly flame-retardant, heat-shrinkable tubing is particularly suitable for insulating and protective purposes in thermally and chemically demanding applications; the electrical properties remain constant over a wide temperature range. Typical areas of application for TFER include protection of electrical components and sheathing of hydraulic hoses to protect against corrosion.
HT-200 Heat-shrinkable tubing made of fluoropolymer is very flexible and flame resistant, extremely temperature resistant, transparent, and chemically stable. The preferred area of application is ultra-thin wall insulation and strain relief in connectors, solder joints and other intricate connections and junctions. HT-200 meets NASA's low outgassing requirements, making it suitable for use in space applications.
